McDonnell Asks For Reduction Of Excessive Regulations

Attorney General Bob McDonnell asked a task force Tuesday to look at reducing excessive and burdensome regulations in Virginia.

A meeting with the Government and Regulatory Reform Task Force featured 63 new recommendations. McDonnell pushed the group to move forward on setting guidelines for state agencies to increase opportunity for public comment.

McDonnell also endorsed a proposal to simplify the way small and minority-owned businesses are registered with the state.
