Presidential candidate and former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore is trying to set himself apart from the other Republican candidates.
In a letter to the Washington Post, Gilmore stated he disagrees with President Bush, and the U.S. should begin limited troop withdrawal.
Experts say most Republican presidential candidates have tried to separate themselves slightly from the Bush war plan, but this is the first time any GOP candidate has called for a timed troop withdrawal.
So far, Gilmore has raised only$200,000, while other GOP front runners have raised millions of dollars.
