Mother Who Allegedly Left Child In Car Facing Less Charges

Raelyn Balfour, the mother who allegedly left her child in the backseat of car, is now facing less charges.

Balfour is now facing one charge of involuntary manslaughter. The felony child neglect and felony homicide charges have been dropped. Police say that she left her son alone in a car near UVa back in April.

Her trial date is set for January 23, 2008.
