Kaine Giving VT Family Members A Voice

The families of Virginia Tech victims won't get a representative on the panel investigating the shootings, but Governor Tim Kaine says they will get access to panel members and information. After meeting with Kaine Saturday, some family members said they are satisfied with Kaine's promise to give them a voice.

Governor Tim Kaine met with some family members of the victims from the Virginia Tech shootings Saturday after many of them voiced frustration over the panel's investigation.

An adviser working with the families says the April shooting was preventable and that Virginia Tech officials dropped the ball.
