Students Show Off Art Work

Some young aspiring artists got to show off their art work Friday.

Forty middle school students from across the area spent the last 10 days in a special intensive summer art program.

The students received certificates while parents admired the sculptures, paintings and mosaics.

One Nelson County Middle School Student, Jade Kim told us, “Art is a great way to express yourself”, and because there is no standard for it, everyone in the program can succeed.
