Local Stabbing Investigation Continues

Charlottesville Police are investigating a late night stabbing Saturday that sent one person to the hospital.

The stabbing happened on the steps of an apartment building on Swanson Drive just before 11pm Saturday night. Police haven't released much information about what led up to the stabbing, but this is what is known so far.

A male in his upper 20's to late 30's was taken to the hospital Saturday night with stab wounds to his upper torso. Police described his injuries as serious, but non-life threatening.

Police did take two people in for questioning, but they say so far they are not suspects. Make sure you stay tuned to CBS19 for further details on the investigation.
