Elvis Shifflett pleaded guilty Monday to two charges of malicious wounding, felon in possession of a gun, and use of a firearm.
The charges stem from an incident that happened last year. Police say that Shifflett tried to shoot his girlfriend in Court Square. He also led police on a manhunt last October.
Police eventually found Shifflett and ended up shooting him. He's scheduled for sentencing October 16th at 4 p.m.
