Sex Offenders registered In Virginia have until 11:59 p.m. Thursday night to share any on line aliases, screen names, and email addresses with the public.
It's part of a new law that took affect July 1. Letters were sent out to all registered offenders notifying them in the change in policy.
Right now, registered individuals have to provide personal information like home address, place of employment, and offense committed.
Over 7,500 sex offenders are registered in the state.
