Saturday the Boys and Girls Club of Charlottesville & Albemarle hosted their third annual Free Health and Fitness Fair.
Asthma screenings, sports physicals, blood pressure checks, vision screenings and other medical services were offered to children for free.
Organizers hoped to raise awareness about health services available in the community.
"One is to bring the services to the community to allow the youth and the families who may not have the opportunity to get to them and who may not be aware that they are here," said Steven Gough of the Boys and Girls Club of Charlottesville.
Saturday's fair was sponsored by the University of Virginia's Children's Hospital.
Organizers say UVA will help families who need it after Saturday's health screenings.
