Mrs. Moneysaver, Dana Adams, joins CBS19's Jim Hanchett to share some of the top shopping deals in the Charlottesville area. This week, she features a deal on Blockbuster Express movie kiosk rentals and printable internet coupons.
You may have recently noticed the new blue Blockbuster Express movie kiosks around town. At $1 a night, these machines can mean cheap entertainment for your family. But even better than $1 are the free rentals you can net right now.
First, sign up for the Blockbuster Express new release email, and you'll receive a code in your email inbox for a free one-night rental. Just enter this code during checkout at the kiosks to get the rental for free. (Any additional nights will cost $1 each.) Plus, now through March 31st, you can also use the code GOLIVE at checkout to get another free 1-night rental.
If you're looking for other ways to save around town, you may be interested to learn about internet printable coupons. Many companies now distribute coupons on the internet that you can print right from home. Printed in black and white, nearly every grocery and mass retailer in the Charlottesville area will accept these coupons to get you big savings on household items.
Internet coupons are free to print and allow you to select only those coupons you know you'll use. In addition to finding printable coupons on manufacturers' websites, there are several reputable sites with literally hundreds of printable coupons available. Fire up your printer and, for starters, check out Target.com, Coupons.com, SmartSource.com, RedPlum.com, and BoxTops4Education for big savings!

Red Box is also a great movie rental kiosk service. I prefer Red Box to Blockbuster but that's just a personal preference.
