Authorities are investigating a multi-car crash on Interstate 64 that sent two Virginia State Police troopers to the hospital and injured two others.

Sgt. Michelle Cotten with Virginia State Police says the troopers were injured Wednesday following a pursuit of suspects involved in a burglary.

The troopers were transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said none of the injuries were serious.

The crash involved two state patrol cars, one York-Poquoson squad car, at least two private vehicles and a tractor-trailer truck.
