Dana Adams, Mrs. Moneysaver, joins CBS19's Jim Hanchett every week to share some of the top shopping deals in the Charlottesville area. This week, she features specials and freebies at Michael and CVS.
Michaels is offering a free Fun With Beads event this Saturday afternoon, March 13. Four hour-long workshops will be offered from 1 to 5 pm, with each workshop teaching a unique beading technique. Included in each free workshop are the supplies to make a beading project, while supplies last.
The 1-2 pm "Make-It, Take-It" project is a bracelet, the 2-3pm and 3-4 pm are different necklace making sessions, and the 4-5 pm project is a beaded Thank You card.
You can find more details on Saturday's event, along with other events at Michaels for the month of March, on Mrs. Moneysaver.
If you're looking for another freebie around town, CVS has Oral-B Cross Action Toothbrushes priced at $4 each through Saturday. You can buy two of these with your Extra Care CVS card though, and receive $4 back for each brush in Extra Care Bucks, making the toothbrush free after Extra Care Bucks.
The Extra Care Bucks can be spent very similarly to a gift card, and expire one month after you receive them. Mrs. Moneysaver has the full scoop on this and other CVS deals.
