Supporters of Congressman Tom Perriello and President Barack Obama's health care reform plan braved the rain to rally outside Perriello's office Friday.
Supporters include city councilor Kristin Szakos. Organizing for America leaders are opposed to health insurance provider Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shields' recent rate increases in Virginia.
They pledge to help Perriello get re-elected if he "stands up to health insurance companies."
"I think it is vital that we re-elect Tom Perriello because he has taken a stand on several issues that will define our generation," supporter Nina Gregor said.
The dozen supporters rallying today were part of the Final March for Reform, a nationwide push supporting Obama's health care plan.

WOW! A whopping 12 people came out in support of Perriello's decision to cram this horrible health care bill down our throats. I am surprised there are that many in this county that favor it. You are so busted for voting against the will of your constituents, Tom Perriello. You'll finally hear us loud and clear on the first Tuesday of November--when we FIRE you.
