For many, March Madness is viewed as a national holiday. Some people take time off and gather with their friends and family to spend quality time at the game or in front of the television. CBS19 went to Wild Wings Café in Charlottesville Thursday night to ask NCAA fans, "Hows your bracket?"
"The Vandy loss, that really killed me, that was tough," said Brian Pailes of his busted NCAA bracket.
"I had seen Robert Morris last year in the first round and they seemed pretty decent for a team from a mid-major conference, so I wasn't too surprised," said Mitchell Mikinski.
Unlike Pailes, Will Carlson was glad to see Vanderbilt lose.
"A great shot at the end! I was actually watching in class and my jaw just dropped, and I'm glad the professor was looking the other way cause it would have been pretty awkward if he saw me, and I was obviously not paying attention," said Carlson.
Chad Day, a Pennsylvania native, was hoping for a win from Robert Morris, but Vanderbilt took home the win.
"Some shady calls down the stretch there, they should have beat 'em, they should have beat 'em," said Day.
Many NCAA fans tell CBS19 it's still too early in the tournament to say if their bracket is broken, but if there are more upsets to come, the money they lose won't break the bank.
