Bus Headed For Richmond Overturns

Police say that 30 people were injured when a bus headed for Richmond overturned in North Carolina on I-440 exit ramp.

According to police the bus was traveling down the ramp at 75 miles an hour, 15 miles an hour over the limit,when it skidded and landed on its side shortly before midnight.

No other cars were involved in the accident. The injured passengers were taken to area hospitals where most have been treated and released.

The bus driver, Aaron Wesley, was charged with careless and reckless driving.
