Louisa County Agriculture Fair

August 3, 2007

The annual Louisa County Agriculture Fair kicked off Friday morning.

Officials describe the fair as a good old fashion county fair with lots to do for all members of the family.

The fairgrounds are packed with exhibits, rides for the kids, cooking contests and live bands.

"We want this one to be neighbors and friends getting together and showing their goods. Showing what they've done over the year. Whether it be an animal, some gardening that they've done, or a quilt they've shown, we want them to show what they've done for the year," said fair President, Hester Fletcher.
