Police in Charlottesville are continuing to investigate a series of random attacks in the city.
They have yet to confirm if those attacks are gang related, but emails sent to the Newsplex seem to indicate gang members are involved.
They were written by someone who calls himself Chaos and sent to the Newsplex as a reply to stories posted on our web channel.
The writer does not come out and say he's a gang member, but does indicate he's part of the Crips.
In one email, Chaos writes:
“If ya’ll Cops Come at us we will Come 6aCC at ya’ll with even more power."
We showed our emails to gang experts. They declined to comment on camera but tell us the capital C's and the b's written as 6's indicate the letter was written by a member of the Crips. They said it seems there's a West Coast influence of the Crips in Charlottesville fighting with members of the Bloods from New York.
Our gang expert says this threat to police is real, but the bigger threat is going to be the violence between the two rival gangs. This is seen in a second email where Chaos refers to a recent brawl at the Fashion Square Mall.
He said:
“They ain't go to the mall looking to fight. They was just tryna Chill.”
We took our emails to police who are investigating the source of the letters, but say they will not comment on this aspect of the investigation at this time.

all i know is that ppl better be careful what they say
Geez,,gangs..sooo childish. Smoking weed and beating up people and getting your head messed up don't make anyone a gangster. Real gangsters of the old were trying to do something for themselves. make themselves better. This ain't that. These are just lil boys.
Clearly, this person has a 1st grade education and can neither speak or write in English. Sad, that they turn to a gang, rather than edcating themselves..
