Shifflett Sentenced To Four Years

August 11, 2007

Jeffrey Shifflett pleaded guilty Friday to four charges in connection with a string of burglaries in both Madison and Greene Counties.

Shifflett was arrested back in October in Scottsville after a high speed chase. Scottsville Police had been hunting him for months.

Friday's plea agreement will put Shifflett back in prison for four years, and Shifflett must still face an Albemarle County judge for violating his probation.

That judge could sentence him to more than fifty years of suspended time from previous convictions.
