Tennis games at the Forest Lakes North Swim and Tennis Club are going to be a little more high tech starting Sunday.
Sunday was the grand opening of the new Clay Tech tennis court surface at Forest Lakes.
The state of the art surface is engineered to allow players to slide more easily, minimizing the risk for injuries and maximizing year round play.
"Clay is easy on the body and it just adds another dimension to the game, so we're quite excited about it," said Director of Tennis Brad Karen.
The Clay Tech courts at Forest Lakes are the only one in the Commonwealth of Virginia and only the third such surface in the U.S.
