Abusive Driver Fees "Constitutional"

Judge Harris said to overturn the law it must be on more than a basis of just fairness.

Earlier this month another Henrico County judge ruled the new laws were unconstitutional, because the fees do not apply to out of state drivers. He said it discriminates against Virginia drivers by violating the equal protection clause.

More cases challenging the fees are under way right now in other jurisdictions across the state.
