A mother is asking the community for help to find whoever murdered her son.

Anthony Johnson's body was found February 21st, 2005. He had been shot once and left beside a car on a dirt road near Darden Towe Park in Albemarle County.

Police say the Johnson murder is at the top of their list.

Annette Johnson, Anthony's mother, says, "I just want justice to be done and [for] it [to] be over. With the way i see it, when he left me it was just like a part of me went along with him."

Albemarle County Police say they are making progress on their investigation, but it's at a slower pace than they would like.

If you have any information you're asked to call Crime Stoppers at (434) 977-4000.
