Police Search For Buckingham County Bank Robbery Suspects

Police now have warrants out for who they believe robbed a bank last Friday in Buckingham County.

Police say on Friday morning, August 17th, a man entered the Arvonia Branch of the Virginia National Bank and showed a teller a note saying that it was a hold up and demanding money.

Officials say that after the man left with an undisclosed amount of money he was picked up by another man driving an old gray pickup truck.

Police are now looking for 33-year-old Gregory Lebert and 36-year-old Leslie Guthrie Jr.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the suspects to call the Buckingham County Sheriff's Office at 434-969-1772.
