The Virginia Tech panel held another closed meeting in Charlottesville Friday in order to iron out the details of the report scheduled to be released next Thursday.
The panel staff director Philip Schaenman says that their work may not finish on Friday. Schaenman says that the report is approximately 300 pages long and will include 70 recommendations.
He says the report will delve "very deep" into the mental health history of student gunman Seung-Hui Cho. Patient privacy laws stalled the panel's early attempts to look at Cho's mental health records.
The report will also include a timeline of Cho's life, and chronicle the events of April 16th and the response by police, the university, emergency medical technicians and hospitals, along with details on the tragedy's aftermath.
