The city of Charlottesville will be holding a free concert on September 11th in an effort to promote peace and understanding.
Charlottesville announced Friday that the concert will be held on the Central Place of the Downtown Mall from 5 - 8 p.m. It will be followed by a candlelit walk to the Free Expression Monument at 8 p.m.
The September Concert is a series of free concerts held in cities around the world on September 11th every year. This is the second time that the city has held the concert.
