They're back!

UVa students and their parents are moving in this weekend, that means heavier traffic and longer waits at local eateries.

20 thousand students attend the University of Virginia.
Nearly 8 thousand of them are out of state residents.

That means student move in weekend brings an influx of students and their families to Charlottesville.

Area restaurants are packed with people, and local hotels are full or nearly full accommodating out of town visitors.

The University estimates an extra 5 thousand cars will be on city roads this weekend.
