Police Arrest Man For Breaking and Entering

Thursday Albemarle County Police arrested a man that appeared to be intoxicated for breaking and entering into a home.

Police went to a house on Gray Stone Court and found the suspect lying on the dining room floor. Officials say that was wearing latex gloves and appeared to be intoxicated.

51-year-old Virgil Atwell Motley III was identified as the suspect. He was treated and released at the University of Virginia Medical Center. He has been charged with breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, attempted grand larceny, vandalism, and destruction of a telephone line.

Motley is being held at the Albemarle/Charlottesville Regional Jail.
