Madison County Students Surpassing National SAT Averages

Madison County students are continuing to surpass national and state SAT averages.

This is the third consecutive year that Madison County High School students have outscored national and state peers on the SAT. Madison's class of 2007 scored an average of 524 in critical reading 529 in mathematics and 517 in writing beating national averages by 22, 14, and 23 respectively.

Scores of the class of 2007 were released by the College Board on August 28th. School officials say that the scores are a result of rigorous coursework, high academic standards, and the hard work of students and teachers.
