A company is building explosives in Virginia with the goal of saving more of our troops' lives.
The explosives are being built from parts of improvised explosive devices or IED's. The same IED's that are killing American troops in Iraq.
They're hoping the more that is known about them and how then work, the better the military can protect the men and women fighting in uniform.
"They can recognize the devices and they know how to detect the devices or avoid the devices and they know the tactics and the procedures the terrorists use to employ the devices against them" said John Connell of A T Solutions.
Many of the companies' employees have military backgrounds dealing with explosives.
