Vick Looking To Repair Image With Trips To Church

September 3, 2007

Michael Vick appears to be trying to turn his life around and repair his damaged image after pleading guilty to a federal dogfighting charge last week.

On Saturday, Vick was at a Christian school, spending time with boys without fathers. On Sunday he and his family attended church in Chesapeake, singing and praying with members of the congregation.

"He's come a long way already," said the Rev. Steven Terry, minister of Deliverance Tabernacle Church, where Vick has been attending services recently.

Vick declined to comment on Sunday. The former NFL star will be sentenced on December 10th.
