CBS19 Crews reported a possible water main break at the intersection of Ridge/McIntire Road and Preston Avenue, near the County Office Building in Charlottesville.

CBS19's Carlos Vergara reported seeing water running out of a manhole cover around noon Tuesday. However, it was a clog rather than a break that forced the water out of the manhole.

Lauren Hildebrand, Director of Utilities for the City of Charlottesville, says that a clog occurred because of grease in the sewer line.

Police and City crews were on the scene immediately and the clog was fixed within 30 minutes.
