Plane Crashes Practicing For Virginia Air Show

A spokesman for the Navy says that a civilian plane crashed Friday while practicing for an air show at Oceana Naval Air Station.

There has been no word on any injuries. Oceana spokesman Troy Snead said that the plane went down around noon Friday. Emergency personnel were immediately on the scene.

No further details have been released. The air show was still scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
