Mark Warner Visits UVa

September 7, 2007

Former governor Mark Warner stopped by UVa Friday to talk to first year business students.

Warner said that he has not made any decisions yet about his political future. The former governor said that he still needed time to talk to his family and friends about his options.

Options that include running for a Senate seat that will be left open by outgoing Senator John Warner, who announced that he would be retiring earlier this week.

Warner says that he will decide based on where he thinks he is most needed and where he thinks he will be the most effective.
