Police received a call at just after seven this evening saying the Universal Video in the Mill Creek Shopping Center had been robbed. Witnesses say a man walked into the store and asked for money and that the clerk complied. Now police say they're on the lookout for an older white male who is likely unarmed.

"There was no indication here that he had a weapon, did not state anything about a weapon, did not show a weapon at all during this. Just simply asked for the money," said Cpl. Dana Robinson of the Albemarle County Police.

Authorities were on the scene within three minutes of the initial 911 call. An officer we talked to said this is the first time this particular clerk has been robbed and even though there was no gun involved, she was understandably shaken up. Albemarle County officers got some help on this incident from city and state police and now they'll continue to search for the suspect.

If you have any information on the robbery, Albemarle County Police ask you to call Crimestoppers at (434) 977-4000.
