Soon-to-be University of Virginia president Teresa Sullivan is moving in style. The 18-wheel Virginia football team equipment trailer was spotted outside a home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where Sullivan previously lived while she served as Provost at the University of Michigan.
The picture was posted by HOOSINSC on message board of CavsCorner.com, a Virginia sports recruiting website. A quick call to UVa. officials confirmed that the trailer is being used to transport Sullivan's possessions to the historic Carr's Hill mansion, her new home on grounds.
The 53-foot trailer, owned by Hilldrup Moving and Storage, is loaned out to UVa. during football season to help transport Virginia football equipment to road games.
Former Cavalier football player Charles McDaniel is the president of Hilldrup. McDaniel was a linebacker for the Hoos from 1982 to 1985.
