The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) has authorized an investigation into Teresa Sullivan's resignation.
In a letter sent to the Board of Visitors, the AAUP calls for members to reconsider its decision and reinstate President Sullivan.
The Union says that's consistent with wishes of a majority of Uva staff, faculty, and students.
