Accident in Charlottesville Sends Several People to the Hospital

A couple and their twin toddlers are recovering from an accident that happened in Charlottesville Friday morning.

It happened around 11:00 AM at the intersection of Avon Street and Druid Avenue.

Police say, the driver of a Jeep ran a stop sign and was hit by a van. The Jeep was pushed onto its side

Everyone in the Jeep was taken to the hospital with cuts and bruises, but no serious injuries.

The driver of the Jeep was charged.
