A United flight had to make a surprise landing on Wednesday at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Regional Airport (CHO).

The plane took off from CHO but an indicator light remained on showing some kind of problem with the landing gear.

The plane circled around and landed back at CHO a few minutes after takeoff.

All passengers are safe and it did not cause any other delays at the airport.

An investigation is underway.
