Albemarle County leaders will be briefing residents on plans for a new firearms training center.
Albemarle Co. is working with regional partners to develop a firearms training center on Milton Road in the eastern part of the county.
The goal is to improve the safety and effectiveness of local law enforcement agencies.
For people who are interested, the meeting is tonight, July 17, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the East Rivanna Volunteer Fire Company.
The meeting will offer an update on the project and give residents a look at design concepts for the future facility.
