Albemarle Co. Police Arrest Teens for Arson at Department Store

Two Albemarle County teenagers are charged with arson after a fire was reportedly set inside the Kohl’s Department Store on Sunday, March 23.

On Monday, March 24, officers arrested a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl.

Albemarle Co. Police placed additional charges against the two teens related to shoplifting incidents that occurred at Walmart on March 20th and 24th.

Both juveniles were held at the Blue Ridge Detention Center.
