Albemarle Co. Police Holding National Night Out Community Event

Albemarle County Police are inviting the community to join them for National Night Out.

The event will be held at Darden Towe Park on Pantops from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m Tuesday, August 5th.

National Night Out aims to promote police/community partnerships and crime prevention.

There are a number of activities planned including kid's fishing, a bike rodeo, a k-9 unit demonstration, some bluegrass music and much more.

Albemarle county police say it is important to have the time together as a community.
