A woman is recovering Saturday night after police say three men forced their way into her apartment.
Albemarle County Police say the alleged home invasion took place around 7:30 a.m. Saturday on Collonnade Drive in the University Heights complex, off Ivy Road.
Police say three men, carrying firearms and wearing hooded sweatshirts, entered an apartment and assaulted a woman who was alone inside.
The men reportedly took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and the alleged victim was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center with minor injuries.
Investigators still have no suspects and ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
