Today is the launch of the President's Day Passport Sweepstakes, where one lucky person will win more than $1000 in prizes.
The Charlottesville Albemarle Convention and Visitors Bureau has joined with Monticello and Montpelier for the sweepstakes. Their main focus is to encourage tourism to the Greater Charlottesville area.
The winner of the sweepstakes will receive two nights at the award winning Keswick Hall at Monticello, passes to Ash Lawn-Highland and Montpelier, fine dining at the historic Charlottesville Downtown Mall and other prizes.
The drawing will be held on March 18.
