Pool season starts this weekend right here in Central Virginia, and passes are already available for the pools and spray grounds in the City of Charlottesville.
Season passes start at $23 and daily passes for the Charlottesville pools range from $4 to $6 for residents.
"Wear plenty of sunscreen, drink lots of fluids, keep hydrated throughout the day, especially the hotter it is," said Aquatics Manager Bob Manners. "Just have a good time and always listen to the lifeguard."
Walnut Creek, Mint Springs and Chris Greene Lake will open to the public starting Saturday.
