The Buckingham County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 15-year-old girl.

Tyler Katelyn Dews was last seen Friday morning. She's described as a black female, 5-foot 8-inches, weighing 120 lbs. with long black hair and brown eyes.

The sheriff's office says Tyler ran away from home Friday morning. She left a note that suggested she was heading toward Hampton.

On Saturday afternoon, investigators say Tyler made a telephone call home saying she wanted to return, but she hasn't been heard from since. The sheriff's office says the call came from the Eagle Harbor Shopping Center in The Isle of Wight.

Authorities ask anyone with information on Tyler's whereabouts to contact local authorities or the Buckingham County Sheriff's Office at 434-969-1772.
