Richard Hawkins appeared in Charlottesville General District Court on Monday morning via teleconference for a bond hearing. He will be held without bond at the Charlottesville/Albemarle Regional Jail.
His case will be back in court on July 11th at 1 p.m.
Police say the man wanted for last Monday's bank robbery on the Downtown Mall is no longer on the run.
Suspect Richard Hawkins is now incarcerated at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Regional Jail.
Charlottesville Police say Hawkins was taken into custody by the Augusta County Sheriff's Office without incident at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Thirty-seven-year-old Hawkins was wanted for the armed bank robbery of United Bank on 5th Street SE on June 17.
