Barber Arrested in Drug Bust Near Greene Co. Court House

Authorities in Greene County arrest and charge a Culpeper man for possession and distribution of narcotics.

On March 14, the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force and officials from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office executed search warrant at the In the Kutt barbershop in Stanardsville.

Law enforcement says they seized digital scales, one and one half ounces of marijuana, Percocet and Vicodin pills.

Shawn Keith Harvey, 48, was arrested at the scene and charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana and possession of with intent to distribute schedule II drugs (Percocet and Vicodin).

Harvey is the owner and sole employee of In the Kutt, which located beside the Greene County Court House.

Officials say this was a four month investigation that included controlled purchases of drugs, interviews, surveillance and other investigative techniques.
