Albemarle Police arrested a Barboursville man on Saturday for allegedly abducting a woman from Charlottesville early Thursday morning.
The alleged incident happened on Dec. 13. Police say 52-year-old Mark Weiner took an adult female from Charlottesville city limits to the Pantops area in Albemarle County. Police say the woman was taken against her will and did not know Weiner.
Weiner is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. He has been denied bond, and will be next be in court on January 3rd.
