A battle of the bands raised money for the Building Goodness Foundation Friday night.
Six bands hit the stage to rock the crowd at the Jefferson Theater in Charlottesville.
The third annual battle added a new way to raise money this year with its first Rockn' Auction.
"It's intended to be a great party, to have a really good time, showcase some great local music, and...hopefully raise some awareness for some possible donors for future projects," said Ethan Tate, Projects Manager for the Building Goodness Foundation.
The Building Goodness Foundation connects the construction industry and anyone interested in volunteering with communities in need.
