A meeting Wednesday night will focus on plans for the future of the Belmont Bridge in Charlottesville.
There are two options on the table: one option is for an enhanced bridge, while the other is for an underpass.
The original plans called for upgrades to the existing bridge, but the Charlottesville City Council asked for design proposals that make it more iconic than the current structure.
The meeting gets underway at 6:30 p.m. this evening, April 23, at the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative on Monticello Road.
