The International Rescue Committee is raising money with an annual benefit.
Wednesday night's benefit raised money to help refugees survive and rebuild after fleeing from war or disaster.
The Boar’s Head Inn was honored for their work in hiring people in our area that are working to resettle.
"Resettlement work is not... We don't do it alone... We do it in partnership with the community,” said Harriet Kuhr, member of the International Rescue Committee. “The community has to welcome people coming in and understand that we are all participants in a larger humanitarian program."
The Boar's Head Inn has hired more than 125 refugees over the past 15 years.
